Company History/Quality Statement

PRA is now a third generation company led by Steven P. Risk, President, since 1995. Joining Steve on the
PRA Management Team are Richard A. Shoemaker, Executive VP; Keith Kreider, VP/Senior Project Manager; John Beers, VP/Senior Project
Manager; and Linda Read, Secretary/Treasurer. Since 1995, our average construction volume has grown from $30 million to $50 million. We have been a nationally Accredited Quality Contractor with Associated Builders and
Contractors since 1993.
The mission of Paul Risk Associates, Inc. is to provide quality construction services for commercial, industrial and institutional clients in southeastern and south-central Pennsylvania and northern Maryland. Our team has served clients with quality and accountability since its beginning. We build long term construction partnerships based on mutual respect and trust. Every year, 75% of all projects built are for repeat clients. These long-term relationships were built with Paul's fair business definition that parallels his belief, "Do onto others as you would have them do unto you."
We are the forerunners in the Design/Build process, implementing
this building philosophy for over 40 years. PRA Design/Build integrity began with two clients, A. Duie Pyle, Inc., and Herr Foods, Inc. These large, quality oriented, family owned businesses looked to PRA for
their first new buildings. In an atmosphere of trust and accountability, PRA became their contractor of choice and has built more than 25 projects for them.
Since 1980, we have completed more than 20 projects for Willow Valley Associates, Inc., including 1,915,000 square feet of life care living. These communities were built in the true spirit of Design/Build, with teamwork and pride, and are recognized nationally as universal blueprints for life care residential community construction.

PRA also recognizes the importance of a safe workplace, industry involvement, educating the future workforce, and community service, and has made a commitment in these areas. It is vital that we all help make our neighborhood a better place to live and work.
