Our focus for this project was to convert a 21,000 SF nursing home into two separate households while residents occupied the building. The central core of the new structure consists of a commercial kitchen and dining areas for each household. In addition, each household now has a living area, spa, laundry room, outdoor patio and meeting space. The resident room corridors received new wall protection, flooring, lighting fixtures and replacement of the acoustical ceiling tile with a drywall ceiling. New tiled European-style showers were added to each resident room, which were also upgraded with a new TV divider wall, paint and carpet.
