The new Mastersonville Fire Station replaced the previous station, built in the 1950s. The new 13,000 SF facility is constructed on a 10-acre site, across the street from the existing fire station. It features an engine bay to house six pieces of apparatus and a mezzanine for equipment storage. The building contains several offices, a training room that seats about 50, a fitness room and a file storage area. A 15,000-gallon dry hydrant to fill the department’s tanker is at the same site as well.
